This cup is dedicated to Lynn, a friend who would write me letters out of smooshed blackberries, who had the mind of a lawyer and the heart of lemur (I would have said lion but she would have not stood for something so expected) , and be game for making a celebration out of anything. She would write me letters not only in hand pressed blackberry juice, but with ballpoint pen – always including little stick figure illustrations and side captions. On the outside of one of the envelopes she wrote in her shaky ballpoint pen scribbles YOU ARE A GREAT BEAUTY. The world lost Lynn, but I still have this envelope on my desk. And still walk a little prouder knowing I was dubbed so by such a wondrous woman.

Useful Care Instructions:
The bottom of the cups is porous and will absorb water during washing. It is best to make sure it can dry upside down completely before putting away, thus allowing all the water to evaporate from the cup to keep it in pristine condition.
